Welcome to the Counselling Service
We are here to help you achieve the best experience possible while you are a part of Brunel University. The Counselling Service offers emotional, psychological and mental health support. Counsellors are trained to listen, understand and to help clairfy and address problems that may be interfering with your wellbeing and enjoyment of life.
The service is free and available to all students of Brunel University and remains open throughout the summer vacation period for appointments and drop-in.
The Counselling Service consists of Counsellors, the administrator, supervisors and external consultants.
The Counsellors are professional qualified, permanent members of staff.
We have a Trainee and Associate Counsellor Unit, which offers placements for trainee counsellors in their final years of training or after completing their course.
All Counsellors work in strict accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotheraphy.
