My test said
You may be suffering from mild depression. This self-assessment test is just an indicator, so please arrange to see your doctor to follow up any symptoms you may have.

I'm hypothyroid and there are a lot of symptoms that are shared with depression. In my humble opinion I think everybody showing signs of depression should have a quick blood test for thyroid function before officially being diagnosed as a depressive or prescribed anti-depressents.

ps .... having said that though, I did notice a marked improvement with dietary changes, i.e. high protein and cutting out sugar and refined carbohydrates, I also take a large dose of Omega 3, magnesium and zinc, a Complex B vitamin and a multivitamin .. there really was a big marked improvement, it meant the difference between being able to go to work through episodes or not

.. still got it though! Although I do think that there are a lot of biological influences to depression, more than is given credit for

I was tested for this though Cec .. and I dont have it, my thyroid levels were middle/average .. same for hypoglycemia. I got checked out for all the physical components of depression and all normal... almost wish it was a physical thing really, you know what you are dealing with!

all the best

K xx
