Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it. And then he feels that perhaps there isn't. -- A. A. Milne

Its very hard to find another way its so much easier to just keep doing it the same even when it causes pain and hurt, in a way the pain and hurt becomes what we know also and to try another way is hard.

This is so true.. thanks for sharing Sue. May i also share a passage that is in my "TA Today" book. It's by Poria Nelson and is called 'Autobiography in Five Short Chapters'

I
I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in
I am lost... I am helpless
It isn't my fault.
It takes forver to find a way out.

II
I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don't see it
I fall in again
I can't believe I am in the same place.
But, it isn't my fault
It still takes a long time to get out.

III
I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there
I still fall in.. it's a habit
My eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.

IV
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

V
I walk down another street.

Thanks for posting that Jenny. I too remember reading it before but it's very good so it's good to be reminded of it again! heart
