this might seem a very strange place to post this link. The link is really a link to a game that could drive you round the twist trying to solve.

but i have put it in this self help tips forum for a reason.

I came across this puzzle hundreds of years ago now it seems, when i was doing an open university course, and looking at problem solving and how in order to solve a problem sometimes its necessary to take a step back.

in life i have found this to be so true. Its not about retracing steps, it is genuinely about taking a step backwards in order to take a step forwards.

In some instances i dont do well on the step backwards, and often get very down, and very angry with myself, but in taking the step forward on reflection i can sometimes see why it was necessary for me to take that step back.

Here is the link, and have fun with it

Another very good game to practice your ability to be a team player and keep your mind in good shape is SPADES

I play it often and with every game you win you get points added to your profile. You start with 1600.. When you lose it goes down, when you win it goes up. My score was nearly 2200 at one point.
I am clever like that - hehe Angel

thanks for posting rusty. Very interesting that you did as i came across this very puzle on a different site yesterday and thought about posting it, but was then distracted. I had the puzzle as a toy when i was about 10 i think - i loved it and know how to complete it. Its a great game though. Good luck to anyone who hasn't seen it before.

Wow pastmember - two tries - thats fantastic.
