hi sue, just want to say well done to you for deciding to fight the flab, and for the intention of keeping it documented here on the forum.
It good to see such determination, and i wish you well, and hopefully i can take some hints.
this might be too much information, but i was out last night and got home about 9.30, my hubby was also out and got back about 10.30. For that hour i was ravenously hungry and cross with myself that i didnt stop at the chinese for a take away on my way home. Anyway, when he got back, i persuaded my self to phone for a home delivery, and we munched our way through it till well past midnight. This morning, i had part of the left overs for breakfast - the crispy noodles to be precise.
Anyway, the moral of all of this is i feel ill, bloated, and sluggish, and wondering what the hell i was thinking about when i listened to that little voice in my head. We had a very healthy evening meal, so last night was greed in the extreme!
Think i really need to join you on your quest!
love

You very welcome Rusty it good to have support the great thing about this diet is that all the support is online there and waiting it also has its own forum with expert advisors on food excersise etc. You just pay £7 AMONTH WITH a limited time of 3 months (to give it changce) and it gives you the menus there all to print it works out everthing for you . Even your weekly shopping list you just take to shop and get. You are really supported with the fact that you cant go from what it says on the daily list and I dont as i want t6o get the best out of it. It asks you during set up any foods ytou dont want to include in the diet so it doesnt give you stuff you cant eat. Also when it gives you your weekly menu you take a browse through it and you can replace anything that you think sounds horrible and even that is done for you . You just click replace and it comes up with diff options with the same cals Gi etc. and you pick. Its easy peasy. Yesterday was tough i think my body was wanting sugar but i had a couple of tangerines instead., It also has extra allowances for the day so when feeling like a crave you can have the extra fruit veg or piece of multigrain bread, (lots more)
If your interested visit sundiets Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! | There is also one tesco diets but ive tried that one and its not as good as this one not as computer friendly and esay to follow it also does not ask what supermarket your going to get your food from I think this helps in doing the shopping list.
Good luck Sue _________________ How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

Hi Sue
I've had a quick look on the site - seems really good. I've put a stone on since I left Slimming World last year (couldn't afford to carry on going) and lots of my clothes no longer fit so I need to do something before I start wearing bin bags
I have an incredibly hectic life - work six days and most evenings. Did you go through a stage when you started the diet where you felt ill/faint etc? I know when I have tried diets before I have felt so wobbly I couldn't work so gave up on them. I think that my body probably has to go through some sort of detox (as I do eat a lot of junk food) but I need to be able to function while this is happening.
I know that just because you may have been OK doesn't mean I will be but I just wondered how you are finding it?
Well done on your achievements so far

The second day (yesterday I craved sugar and that was my body detoxing the unatural sugar as i still have natural ones from fruit. I got a funny sort of headache not a proper one but like a fuzy one. I felt a bit grumpy this morning and snappy again i reocgnise this as a withdrawal to the sugar and possibly the high carbs im used to with refined and processed foods. Today though (after breakfast) of poached egg tomatoes and wholegrain toast I felt great and felt better and better as the day went on. Did a group this eve and at the end I asked the participants to do a round of "I feel...." and mine was "energised" . I dont think it will get worse than this I have read a lot about the GI diet and it actually gives you energy not takes it away and yes you do recognise that one size does not fit all. So may be diff for you why not do a bit of reasearch on GI diet. Its not at all like Atkins which i lost a stone on two years ago that was hard no fruit and min veg and no bread arrrgghhhhh Im also allowed rice wchich i had for tea wtih tuna steak, asparagus, pepers on a bed of lettuce delicious. ]
Thank you for my well done it means alot xxxxx _________________ How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

Thanks Sue. I certainly would like to have more energy. Will have a read around the GI diet. I guess I'd have to weigh myself before I start - that will be VERY depressing - the Lump has become Lumpier - but hopefully will soon be a Lesser Lump!!!

well done Sue. i think a lot of weight is often losted intially - then it slows down which is better as its likely to stay off if its lost gradually. |
